Look out world. Bazinga's well on the way to becoming mobile. She was throwing a fit last night, so Moses put her down on her tummy in her crib to cry it out. He thinks she can't take as deep a breath, so she's forced to calm down. I question the wisdom of this method in light of that reasoning, but oh, well. After a little bit, her screaming got noticibly louder. A little while later I went in to check on her and she was still screaming, but she was screaming on her back. So although neither of us have actually SEEN the child roll over, I'm pretty sure she did. She still hasn't rolled from back to front yet. She gets from back to side and back to her back just fine though. I think she just doesn't want to be on her belly.
Finally! A non-Bazinga knit! Although it is for a baby girl. Just not MY baby girl.
This is a seamless raglan cardigan with a garter-stitch border. I was given a bag full of baby yarn, so I got to shrink my stash just a little bit. I think this is Super Soft acrylic by Caron. It's sized for a 15-pound baby.

Bazinga is now four and a half months old. Last week she blew her first raspberry, and she's been working on making "m" sounds for a little while as well. She can roll from her back onto her side and back onto her back, but not all the way over onto her tummy yet. She started rice cereal last week and seems to like it. She opens her mouth when she sees the spoon coming. Norma stopped by today with a couple of spring dresses. One is a sailor dress, because Moses was in the Navy. The other is a pink floral dress that should be good for Easter if it still fits her in three weeks. She wore some 6-9 month overalls last weekend and they were just a little bit big on her.
